    KINGSPORT — Eggs Up Grill is still slated to open in Kingsport, just not in the space it was seemingly planned for. According to the restaurant's website, the location is “coming soon” for the address of 2003 N. Eastman Road in Suite 210. Lorem Thum, a media spokesperson for Eggs Up Grill, confirmed that would be the address for the Kingsport spot. An interior demolition permit was issued for the space by the City of Kingsport on April 4, records show.

    KINGSPORT — Mike Pendleton said he has lived in and fished around Kingsport his whole life. As a kayak fisherman, Pendleton calls himself a big smallmouth fisherman raised on the river — which is why he felt concerned seeing a white residue appear in the Holston River near Domtar’s discharge pipe. Pendleton said after Domtar switched from being a paper plant to a containerboard plant, this new residue became more common.
