PENNSYLVANIA, USA — FOX43 Weather Impact Meteorologists have issued a Weather Impact Alert Friday from 6 a.m. through 9 p.m. for periods of showers and storms, especially in the morning, that could bring a few damaging winds, minor flooding and even a brief spin-up tornado. Morning commute looks to be the most impacted but a few pop-up strong storms in the heat of the day may impact the PM commute as well.

YORK, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Impact Team has called for a Weather Impact Alert from 9 A.M. Saturday until 2 A.M. Sunday for a wintry mix that begins as snow and changes to sleet and freezing rain, before ultimately changing to plain rain. Light snow arrives after 9 A.M. Saturday from west to east. After about a few hours of light snow, a transition to sleet and freezing rain takes place from southwest to northeast.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Impact Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert from 3 P.M. Tuesday until 7 A.M. Wednesday for accumulating snow. This is expected to bring travel disruptions starting Tuesday evening, with the highest impacts expected later Tuesday night into the early morning on Wednesday. The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Franklin, Cumberland, Adams, York, and Lancaster counties starting at 2 P.M. Tuesday and ending at 7 A.M. Wednesday.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Impact Team has called for a Weather Impact Alert from 10 P.M. Wednesday until 12 P.M. Thursday for a wintry mix of mostly sleet and freezing rain. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY goes into effect during the same time for the entire area. Some spotty snow showers or flurries are possible at times throughout Wednesday, but should not bring any trouble. Accumulations are unlikely due to dry air.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The FOX43 Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert from Monday until Thursday morning for bitterly cold and dangerous arctic air. The National Weather Service has issued a COLD WEATHER ADVISORY for Mifflin and Juniata counties from 7 p.m. Monday until noon on Wednesday for wind chills between -10 to -15 degrees. Even outside of the Advisory area, highs in the teens are expected through Wednesday, with wind chills in the single digits.
