The Michigan Panthers dominated on the ground Sunday at Ford Field, rushing for 213 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout 38-14 win over the DC Defenders. Quarterback Bryce Perkins had an efficient day on the ground and in the air, throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns while completing 13 of 18 passes, which was more than enough for an easy Panthers victory.

The Detroit Tigers have made another roster move during an already busy week. On Tuesday, the Tigers called up right-handed reliever Chase Lee from Triple-A Toledo, who has a 6.75 ERA in six appearances for the Mud Hens in 2025. If and when the reliver appears in a game for the Tigers, it will be his MLB debut after being drafted by the Texas Rangers in the fifth round in 2021. Lee was acquired as part of the trade of Andrew Chafin trade at last year's trade deadline.
