    One person died in a single-vehicle crash in South Bend during the early morning hours of Saturday, May 10, police said in a press release. Around 2:30 a.m., a South Bend Police officer was on patrol on the city’s northwest side when he observed a vehicle make a sudden turn onto Huey Street from Elwood Avenue, according to the press release.The vehicle then traveled onto Humboldt Street before turning into the alley between Huey and Elmer Streets.
