The South Bend Tribune is a daily publication and news website located in South Bend, Indiana. It serves readers in South Bend, Mishawaka, as well as parts of north central Indiana and southwestern Michigan. The newspaper has earned the title of "Blue Ribbon Newspaper" from the Hoosier State Press Association in the years 2006, 2016, and 2018. With its circulation, it ranks as the third largest daily broadsheet newspaper in Indiana.

LAPORTE — A second "No Kings" protest Saturday, June 21 against President Donald Trump's actions and policies was disrupted when someone stepped out of a car and punched a protester, police said. On Monday, June 23, prosecutors charged 45-year-old Brian Foster with battery, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. About 100 protesters were gathered outside the LaPorte County Courthouse downtown when Foster rode past as the passenger in a vehicle, police said.
South Bend Bike Garage carries on in city garage after two break-ins by young thieves

The city recently took down the trafic signals there, saying that the intersection will be improved. SOUTH BEND — Dangerous heat index levels will be in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday as South Bend area residents are asked to find relief by getting into cool areas during the heat wave. Saturday's heat index levels will likely surpass 101 degrees, as air temperatures reach 93, according to the National Weather Service-South Bend. Sunday's highs will reach 95, with sunny skies and winds gusting as high as 25 mph.
