CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The forecast is trending a bit better today with more sunshine and dry conditions. Abundant sunshine this morning gives way to a bit more cloud cover later in the day. Due to a northeast breeze between 10 and 15 mph, high temperatures will vary widely across the region. Locations along and near the lakeshore stay in the 50s. South of the Turnpike, temperatures climb to the 60s. A few readings near 70 degrees are likely south of US 30.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A cold front that moved through Saturday afternoon has brought much chillier air to the region. This is actually the same front that hovered nearby over the past several days and has been responsible for all the rain, but it finally pushed through and will no longer be a bother by this afternoon. Showers linger this morning, even mixing with snow at times, but the rain is lighter and will not lead to any additional flooding concerns.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - After a cloudier finish to Saturday with a few showers overnight, sunshine returns for Sunday. While a stray shower cannot be ruled out for the afternoon, most locations stay dry. The big story will be the wind, which is expected to be quite gusty out of the west to northwest and lead to a high risk for rip currents on all Northeast Ohio beaches this afternoon and evening.

Seasonal depression seems fake until it’s above 30° and sunny in February and it feels like a choir of angels is singing as you walk up to the gates of heaven
