(WPRI) - The federal lawsuit against CVS Health unsealed on Wednesday could reshape the state's next race for governor, as one of the players involved is a leading candidate for the job. The civil complaint filed by Rhode Island U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha alleges CVS executives turned a blind eye as the opioid crisis worsened, allowing illegal prescriptions to be filled and mismanaging the company's chain of retail pharmacies.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Former Rhode Island Lt. Gov. Thomas DiLuglio has died at age 93. His death was confirmed by former Providence Mayor Joe Paolino Jr., a longtime friend. Born in 1931, DiLuglio (pronounced "dih-LOOL-io") grew up in Providence and graduated from Classical High School. He went on to Brown University, where he was a track star, then earned a law degree from Boston University.

ATTLEBORO, Mass (WPRI) - Four people were rushed to the hospital after a duplex fire broke out in Attleboro on Sunday morning. Crews were on the scene around 9:13 a.m. after getting a call about a house fire on Mendon Road, according to the fire chief. Two people were in that home during this fire and were rescued by two police officers in the area who first responded, the chief said. Firefighters contained the flames to two rooms.

ATTLEBORO, Mass (WPRI) - A fire heavily damaged a duplex on Mendon Road in Attleboro Sunday morning. Around 9 a.m., the fire department arrived at the home to find flames coming out of the second floor. 12 News cameras captured firefighters going on the roof to put out the fire. The fire chief says one side of the duplex was damaged. Two people were taken to the hospital for observation. The cause is under investigation.

PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) - An estimated 2,500 gallons of gasoline spilled out of a fuel tanker truck that tipped over on an on-ramp to I-95 Saturday. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) says the truck was removed from the on-ramp around 5 a.m. Sunday after the remainder of the gasoline was removed. The ramp has since reopened.
