    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have spent hours at a standoff in Grand Rapids Wednesday. It’s happening outside a home on Fuller Avenue near Dunham Street. A News 8 crew at the scene saw caution tape and Grand Rapids Police Department Cruisers blocking off the road and officers redirecting traffic. Officers with tactical gear were gathered near a police vehicle. Around 5 p.m., a SWAT team used a bullhorn outside the house. Around 5:50 p.m., the News 8 crew saw a SWAT team enter the house.

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man died Wednesday morning in what the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office called an “officer-involved shooting.”Around 10:44 a.m., deputies were called for a report of a possible shooting victim who was reportedly suicidal, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies did not say where it happened. When they arrived, deputies found a 41-year-old Marshall man with what looked like a long rifle-style gun pointed at a deputy, the sheriff’s office said.
