    The San Jose Sharks have closed the season with a loss, ending with a 20-50-12 and 52 points. The Sharks fell to the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 on Wednesday night and will now get ready for a summer off and hopefully some growth. The Sharks’ offense was aggressive at the beginning of the first frame of last night’s game. But halfway in, the Sharks had taken six shots, and the Oilers were at zero until Ty Emberson sniped one home, scoring 1-0 in favor of Edmonton.

Kaprisov had two goals and an assist, while Smith had a goal and three assists as the Minnesota Wild topped the San Jose Sharks 8-7 in overtime.

    Today’s practice for the San Jose Sharks was certainly one to remember. 5-year-old cancer survivor Luke Schumann joined the Sharks on the ice and had a morning full of fun and great memories. A few days after his fifth birthday, Luke was diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin). His parents say they discovered a lump under his armpit on May 14, 2024 (Luke’s birthday is May 15).
