PORTLAND, Ore. — One year ago, on June 4, 2024, Josh Kelvin was shot and killed while driving for Uber in Southeast Portland. "It takes 30 seconds, and your life is completely turned upside-down and crushed," said Josh's wife, Kelly Kelvin. As time passes, Kelly still holds tightly to the belief that someone will come forward with information about her husband's murder. Her plea this year has remained largely unchanged as she seeks help in solving the case.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The food cart pod at Southeast Foster Road and 52nd Avenue is back open and under new ownership. The area is now called Foster Food Carts and hosts about 15 businesses. "I’m a foodie and I pretty much tried everything from every cart so far," said Anay Chaubal a co-owner of Foodie Mumbhaiya. "The response we’re getting from all the people is so good." Chaubal and his mom launched their business earlier this year with a menu inspired by street food in Mumbai.

In Washington, House Bill 2079, introduced by Democratic Representatives Davis and Fitzgibbon, would raise the beer excise tax. The Washington Brewers Association says a new bill could double the excise tax on beer for local brewers.
