SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Happy Tuesday! The quiet and comfortable weather continues across the ArkLaTex. Highs should reach near average today, the mid-70s, with sunny conditions wall-to-wall. Tonight will get pretty cool again with lows in the mid to upper 40s and clear skies overnight. More dry conditions continue into Wednesday, and there is lots of sunshine to enjoy. High temperatures ramp up into the lower 80s for the afternoon after morning temperatures get down to the upper 40s.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Happy Monday! After the chaos of last week, we desired quiet weather ahead of us. Today will be sunny and still quite cool with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Breezy conditions may make it feel a little cooler at times so a hoodie would be recommended. Clear this evening with lows in the lower 40s. It’s a completely sunny day on Tuesday with dry conditions expected for everyone throughout the day.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Happy Friday! It’s another KSLA First Alert Weather Day due to the likelihood of severe weather this afternoon. The latest from Futuretrack suggests that storm intensification will likely begin around 2 PM. All risks from severe weather are possible today with emphasis on the potential for tornadoes and large to very large hail. Storms will likely begin in East Texas and move eastward north of I-20 for the most part, but a few storms south of that line are possible.

In 2024, Washington and Lee men’s lacrosse had one of its best seasons ever. The Generals went undefeated in conference play and reached the Final Four in the NCAA tournament after a historic 16-15 overtime win against No. 1 Salisbury University. This year, they’re back and stronger than ever. The Generals were ranked preseason No. 4 by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and top five in the country in every other poll.

The men’s wrestling team has been one of Washington and Lee’s most successful and consistent teams over the last decade, and the 2024-25 season has been no different. After a narrow 22-26 loss to No. 14 Stevens College on Jan. 11, the Generals bounced back to beat No. 18 Ferrum College at home on Jan. 16. That win improved their record to 10-3 and cemented their sixth double-digit win season in a row, the longest streak in W&L wrestling history.
