SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A popular Shreveport chef was announced as one of the participants in the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off coming to south Louisiana in late June. SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A teen was fatally injured after a shooting on Parkhurst Street late Tuesday night. Police say the teen was likely an innocent bystander injured as guns were fired indiscriminately, leading to his death in the 3100 block of Parkhurst near Prentiss Avenue. The Caddo Parish Coroner identified the victim as 15-year-old Kevin R. Ester. He was shot just after 8:20 p.m. and succumbed to his injuries at Ochsner LSU Health around 5:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28.
