TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Back-to-school season is in full swing across the Big Bend, and several organizations, community groups and churches are ensuring local kids are set up for success this school year. The seventh Annual Shoes 4 School giveaway is scheduled for August 11 at 8 a.m. in the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The event is prepared to give out 7,000 pairs of shoes to children in need of all ages from pre-school to high school.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - It’s been 20 years since Tina Fey’s iconic film ‘Mean Girls’ was a box office hit, and recently a Broadway show. Now, Young Actors Theatre is debuting middle and high school versions of the stage show in Tallahassee featuring 73 high school actors and 48 middle school performers. Mallory Greisl, who plays Regina George in the production, stopped by the WCTV studio to tell us more about YAT’s rendition of ‘Mean Girls’.
