WAUKESHA — It was an emotional night at Waukesha West High School on Friday. Waukesha and Oconomowoc boys lacrosse were set to face off in their respective season openers, but before the game, lacrosse was the last thing on either team’s mind. Many of the players, coaches and fans donned pink attire, and the Nighthawks lined up for the national anthem on the six-yard line in honor of their former goalie Brady Caproon.

BROOKFIELD — What a season it was for Brookfield Central boys basketball. Before the season, the Lancers were expected to finish in the middle of a tough Greater Metro Conference. Central dispelled those notions, going 12-4 and sharing the title with Division 2 state champions Wauwatosa West. Leading the Lancers’ charge this season was senior guard Anthony Rise. Rise, who stands 6-foot-1, led all Waukesha County scorers, averaging 24.6 points per game on 51% shooting.

Petition for Rob Manfred and @MLB to ban Zack Hample from MLB games for life

17 years later and I’m still wondering why Bruce Wayne talks in his Batman voice to people who know he’s Batman…

That might have been the worst offensive possession with the game on the line I’ve ever seen
