    Five adult finalists and one youth finalist were selected as winners for the 2025 Traffic Box Mural Project, according to a news release on April 28. The contest began earlier this year, inviting artists to submit artwork for the traffic signal boxes as part of the city’s effort to beautify Brighton through public art. The city received over 100 submissions, and the judges selected 15 based on community feedback. Over 750 public votes were cast during the week-long voting period.
