They’re set to close permanently on Sunday, according to Wake County park officials, at the end of the day. “It’s got a lot going for it,” mountain biking veteran David Bourke said. “It’s unfortunate and it seems kind of useless to get rid of it.”Bourke has been coming to the park for the last 25 years.
