The entire states of Michigan and Wisconsin are under an Air Quality Advisory until 6 a.m. Saturday. As smoke plumes from wildfires in Manitoba and Saskatchewan move over the area, air quality will be unhealthy for people with heart disease or respiratory diseases like asthma. Despite some haze, skies will become mostly clear tonight and stay that way through Monday. Temperatures Saturday will have a hard time getting out of the mid to upper-50s.

It’s not out of the question we could see a light shower or sprinkle before sunset, but mostly clear skies are expected tonight, with lows in the mid-40s. Looks for highs in the mid-60s Tuesday and Wednesday, with mid to upper-70s Thursday and around 80 Friday. For the shorelines, Thursday and Friday will be breezy and a bit cooler. As for rain chances, much of the week looks dry. There is a chance of an isolated afternoon rain shower near the Wisconsin border Tuesday afternoon.

Mostly clear skies are expected tonight. Some portions of the interior could drop to the low to mid-30s, so some patchy frost isn’t out of the question, but it shouldn’t as widespread as what we saw Sunday. Mostly sunny skies are expected for Memorial Day, though an isolated light shower or sprinkle could pop up in the afternoon. This wouldn’t be anything that would result in outdoor activities being cancelled. Highs will be in the mid-60s.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for Baraga, Iron, Ontonagon, Gogebic and southern Houghton counties for Saturday morning. Temperatures could drop as low as 30 degrees in these areas away from the Lake Superior shoreline. Aside from the frost, we could also see some isolated light rain showers and sprinkles tonight and Saturday. Speaking of Memorial Day weekend, highs are expected to be in the low to mid-50s Saturday and Sunday, with lower-60s by Monday. More sunshine is expected Sunday and Monday.

After we get past some isolated rain and snow showers this evening, drier conditions are expected overnight, with patchy fog possible. Dry weather is then expected for the next seven days. Temperatures in the lower-50s Saturday increase to the upper-50s Sunday and Monday. Tuesday looks like a good bet to reach at least the mid-60s everywhere, with even warmer conditions for interior locations. We’ll cool back to the lower-50s Wednesday with breezy conditions.
