Ray Buick marked the end of an era this week when the Southwest Side dealership ended its 72-year relationship with the General Motors brand. The dealership at 5011 W. 62nd St. was one of only eight stand-alone Buick dealerships left in the United States before it stopped selling the vehicles. All other Buick stores also sell other GM products including GMC trucks or Chevrolets or Cadillacs. The dealership will stay open as a used car store and has changed its name to Ray Automotive.
