A chance meeting over 20 years ago involving Ilana Hoffer Skoff led to the founding of an organization that has impacted the lives of thousands of people in Northeast Ohio and elsewhere. For her work as cofounder of Milestones Autism Resources, Skoff has been called a “visionary,” “the inspiration” and a “trailblazer.”Skoff, who co-founded the organization in 2003, died from cancer on March 2. She was 58.
