Clear and chilly conditions expected Thursday night into early Friday morning. Mainly sunny and not as windy on Friday. Windy and warm conditions expected for the weekend. Late this afternoon and evening there is a small chance for a few isolated showers or sprinkles. Thursday will be mostly sunny, windy and slightly cooler across the state with temperatures still at or above average. Less wind with sunny skies on Friday. The weekend will be warm and breezy and mainly dry. Partly to mostly sunny, breezy and warm for parts of Nebraska Wednesday.

    LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A storm system will bring areas of rain across Nebraska Friday and temperatures will be on the cool side. Skies will become mostly sunny on Saturday along with a gusty north wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Less wind and warmer temperatures for Sunday. Mainly cloudy skies with scattered showers Friday with highs in the 30s, 40s and 50s. Easterly wind 5 to 15 mph. A few lingering showers Friday evening into early Saturday morning, especially in eastern Nebraska.

Partly sunny this afternoon with highs in the 70s and 80s in central and eastern Nebraska.

    LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - An upper-level ridge of high pressure continues to expand into the central plains and that means several hot and humid day ahead. Rain chances will also be on the low side through Saturday. A few scattered thunderstorms will be possible late Sunday. Mostly sunny, hot and humid across Nebraska Thursday afternoon with temperatures climbing into the 90s. South-southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Mostly clear and warm Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows in the 60s and 70s.
