CLEVELAND (WJW) — Cleveland police are asking for the public’s help after a child was struck by a motorcycle in a downtown hit-and-run just blocks from Progressive Field. It happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday night at the intersection of East 9th Street and Bolivar Road. According to police, a father and his 11-year-old son were crossing the street when a motorcyclist ran a red light, ignored a traffic officer’s signal to stop, and struck the boy.
