INDIANAPOLIS - Three men were injured in separate overnight shootings across Indianapolis. The incidents happened in three different areas around the city in the span of just a few hours, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Windsong Drive shootingIMPD said the first shooting happened Monday at 11 p.m. in a neighborhood in the 2000 block of Windsong Dr. on Indy's far east side. When officers arrived, they located a man who'd been shot in the leg.

LAFAYETTE, IN - One man is dead after a shooting involving the Lafayette Police Department Thursday night. According to Lafayette Police Department, around 9 p.m. officers responded to a domestic incident between a man and woman at an apartment in the 2800 block of Ravenwood Court. The woman asked officers to be present while she and her son left the apartment. When the officers were inside the apartment the man began shooting at the officers. The officers returned fire.

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. According to IMPD, just before 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a person down behind the Laundry and Tan Connection at 8075 Madison Ave. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound, the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he later died.
