May 11 marks 115 years since the Wellington Pit disaster in Whitehaven. To mark the occasion, Michael Moon, who owns an antiquarian bookshop on Lowther Street in Whitehaven, has republished a book written at the time of the disaster. The book was written in 1910, the same year as the disaster, by reverend C.B.S. Gillings.
