The project, called Start with the Park, is backed by £2.6 million in funding from the Carlisle Town Deal. It aims to improve the green spaces of Carlisle as part of the first phase of the Greenway, a green travel route connecting St Cuthbert's Garden Village with Carlisle city centre and the surrounding countryside.

Police appeal for footage after alleged Range Rover and Jaguar collision in Carlisle (Image: NQ) Police are appealing for dashcam following an incident that occurred in the area of Warwick Road & Walkmill Crescent, Carlisle on April 11 at around 3pm. During the incident a dark coloured Range Rover is reported to have deliberately driven at silver Jaguar, which it has then been in collision with. No one was injured during the incident.
