LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Temperatures look to remain below average for one more day before getting back to above average for Friday and the weekend. Decent rain chances look return for the first half of next week. Thursday morning could begin with some areas of fog and drizzle. Otherwise, the first half of the day should be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

Showers and maybe a few isolated thunderstorms will be likely throughout the day so have an umbrella or rain jacket with you when going outside. Above average temperatures look to return by the weekend. Today (Memorial Day) will be mainly cloudy, cool and a bit breezy. Rain is going to be likely for much of the day. High temperatures will be in the mid 50s to mid 60s.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible Saturday through Memorial Day. The weekend could be a bit breezy too. Temperatures should remain below average through the middle of next week. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and cool with a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms for much of the day. That chance of rain will increase to 60% by Saturday night. Winds look to be east at 8 to 18 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Temperatures will be below average Friday, this weekend and the first half of next week. Friday should be mostly cloudy to cloudy and cool with a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms through the day. While rain is not likely to fall all day, precipitation can’t be ruled out at any point of the day either.

Temperatures should be below average for the upcoming holiday weekend. Thursday is going to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and a bit breezy. Winds look to be north and northwest at 8 to 18 mph with some gusts to 25 mph. Low temperatures will be in the mid 30s to mid 40s with high temperatures in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
