LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday. The chance of rain will increase a bit for Friday. At this time, the weekend looks to be mild and dry. Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy and a bit breezy. Winds should be north-northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. There is a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms through the day, but the afternoon and early evening may ultimately be the best opportunity to see the rain.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Below average temperatures remain in place for the weekend. The eastern third to half of the area has a very good chance of rain for Easter Sunday. The active weather pattern continues next week with mainly mild temperatures. Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy for the first half of the day, then mostly sunny to partly cloudy for the second half. It will not be as breezy with winds from the northeast and east at 8 to 18 mph.

It will be breezy Wednesday and windy Thursday. Wednesday looks to feature variable cloudiness with mild temperatures and a small chance of rain. It should be breezy too with northwest winds at 10 to 25 mph and gusts to 35 mph.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Below average temperatures continue for the first half of the weekend. The second half of the weekend should be seasonable. Above average temperatures return for mid-to-late next week. Saturday will be mostly sunny, cool and breezy for the bulk of the day. Winds look to be north at 10 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Low temperatures should be in the mid teens to mid 30s with high temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures should return closer to average for mid-August Monday. Below average temperatures look to remain through the middle of the upcoming week. There are more chances for rain too. Above average temperatures look to make a comeback Friday and next weekend. Monday will begin partly to mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm. There could be areas of fog too so be aware of reduced visibility when on your way to work and school.
