According to a post on social media Saturday morning, the incident happened in a parking lot near Donaghey Avenue and Bruce Street. Police said that one person was injured and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

BENTON, Ark. – Police in Benton are on the scene of an incident just off Interstate 30. The Benton Police Department said officers responded to Mac’s Minnows and More around 7:45 p.m. in reference to a disturbance between two people. When they arrived, officers said they found a man dead. Authorities said there is no threat to the public because of the incident. No suspect information has been released at this time.
