In Brecksville, the historic house at 8937 Highland Drive, known as the Knowlton Bourne Home, just hit the market for $599,900. The home is on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was originally built in 1879 by Dr. William Knowlton, a renowned physician who fought in the Civil War. He was also chairman of obstetrics at Wooster University. The home also served as his medical office for many years.
