SALT LAKE CITY — One person was killed after a West Haven house fire on Tuesday night. According to David Reed, Weber Fire District’s deputy chief, the fire broke out near 4300 S and 3450 W. Weber Fire District’s chief said they received a call around 6:15 p.m. They believe it was reported after someone saw smoke emerging from the house. Three engines arrived on the scene; one from Roy Fire Department and two from the Weber Fire Department.

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah families are welcoming home soldiers with the Utah National Guard this weekend as 150 Utah soldiers returned home Saturday from a nearly yearlong military mission to Africa. KSL-TV was there as their plane arrived, and they greeted their families. Walking off the plane to families anxious for their return, soldiers came home Saturday to hugs long overdue. For loved ones greeting them, it was their best day ever. "We're very excited.

Before Tim Corbin arrived and brought the baseball team to national prominence, Commodore women's basketball was considered the flagship program for Vanderbilt athletics. Vandy was competing for SEC titles every year and consistently making deep NCAA tournament runs, even reaching a Final Four in 1993.

I love my fellow fans of Commodore Nation. We are few, but we are proud and strong. And yet sometimes, there are segments of the fanbase that mystify me. I can't help but notice how many of them wondering if their basketball teams turned into pumpkins after the clock struck midnight on 2024. What happened to those two dominant teams that rolled through their preconference schedules? The men finished 12-1. The women breezed through with a 13-1 record.
