    Two Long Island women are each $1 million richer after claiming big lottery prizes Tuesday in separate New York Lottery games. AnnaMaria Gjomarkaj of Hempstead won $1 million in the Oct. 1, 2024, Mega Millions drawing, matching the first five numbers — 25, 35, 47, 50, and 66. She missed only the Mega Ball, which was 25. Gjomarkaj — who traveled to Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh to buy her second-prize winning ticket — received a lump sum payout of $651,000 after required withholdings.
