Robert Salvatico, whose family operates the Indigo Hotel and the Holiday Inn & Suites in Riverhead, presented the concept at a recent Hampton Bays Civic Association meeting, 27east reported.

A Ronkonkoma woman has claimed a $1 million prize on New York Lottery’s Platinum Power scratch-off game, lottery officials said. Theresa Imbriale collected a one-time, lump sum payment of $416,640, after required withholdings. Her winning ticket was purchased at Arjo Enterprise, located at 885 Ronkonkoma Ave. in Lake Ronkonkoma. Every top prize on the Platinum Power ticket has now been claimed. It’s a nightmare scenario: a silent, odorless gas creeping through a home while everyone sleeps. Suffolk County Police are investigating a carbon monoxide leak that seriously injured two people and sent eight others to hospitals from a multifamily home in Brentwood early Thursday morning. Officers from Suffolk Police’s Third Precinct responded to 150 American Blvd. at 7:05 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a sick resident.
