An 18-year-old Kennewick man was arrested for felony eluding after a police chase on Interstate 90 that hit speeds of 115 mph on Wednesday evening. John Michael Gomez was booked into Kittitas County Jail just before 8 p.m. April 9. An hour earlier, Gomez was seen speeding on I-90 near Milepost 101 east of Ellensburg. A state trooper parked in the median of the highway said radar showed the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu that Gomez was driving was going 111 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Thomas Richard Sheeley, 20, and Jose Antonio Mora, 19, were arrested March 27 on allegations of drive-by shooting, first- and second-degree mischief, and unlawful discharge of a weapon.

Benny Lee Castizo, 18, was convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Christian Guthrie at the end of a 10-day trial in February.

Vincent Daniel Lane, 43, was arrested outside a laundromat on West Washington Avenue and booked into Kittitas County Jail just after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
