CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The 22News Storm Team has declared a Weather Alert for strong to severe thunderstorms on Friday. A Flood Watch is up for all of western Massachusetts from noon Friday until midnight Saturday. Friday’s 7 am temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s. Have an indoor alternative to any outdoor plans on Friday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday morning. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday afternoon and evening.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The 22News Storm Team issued a Weather Alert for snow Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Winter Weather Advisory: Wednesday 8 p.m. -Thursday 10 a.m., for Hampshire, Franklin, Berkshire, and western Hampden County. Tuesday night we will see partial cloud cover with evening flurries in the Berkshires and the hills. Clouds will clear for the overnight hours. Lows will drop into the mid to upper teens. Watch out for icy surfaces tonight.

Winter Weather Advisory until Thursday 10 am, for all of western Massachusetts. Wednesday evening temperatures will be in the 30s. Steady snow arrives 8-10 pm. The heaviest/steadiest snow will happen 10 pm-1 am. Snow will end 5-8 am Thursday.
