These small cardboard ads litter lawns, street corners and usually hang around long after the election is over.

Medical experts have been urging people to get vaccinated. Despite all the warnings, Racine and Kenosha vaccination rates remain below the necessary 95% vaccination threshold for herd immunity.

Some students embraced their love of spelling and flourished, and some went on to be “super spellers”. This weekend, Wisconsin’s top spellers will compete at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mitby Theater at Madison College.

Some dogs go above and beyond their friendships serving as therapy dogs, rescue dogs and police dogs. to the law enforcement agencies that employee police dogs, those “paw-ficers” are valued members of the department. They deserve to be protected as such.
