    Food truck A Touch By Tonya-Soul Food & Southern Cuisine will move to 200 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville, on Aug. 14, with a grand opening event Aug. 18. The food truck will join artisan-crafted ice cream food truck Shell We Roll to serve walk-up customers and patrons of local wine bar Three Legged Goat. A Touch By Tonya began operating at 310 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville, on Dec. 1. Prior to that, the food truck had been located at 19903 FM 685, Pflugerville, since May 2022.

    Prost Alehouse, a brewery that was scheduled to have a grand opening event Aug. 1 at 115 E. Main St., Pflugerville, has delayed opening until October, staff from the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce said. Co-owner Troy Dudley, who did not respond to repeated requests for comment from Community Impact, first announced the brewery was coming to downtown Pflugerville in September 2020.

    Panther Commercial Park, located at 19832 Panther Drive, Pflugerville, will have a ribbon-cutting event Aug. 3 at the same address. Information from developer TBN Development states the new facility features seven buildings containing 32 commercial condo units ranging from 1,800-10,800 square feet. as well as a condominium association, high-speed internet fiber access and 200 parking spaces.

    Shell We Roll, a new dessert-based food truck, opened July 1 at 200 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville. Located just outside the patio of local wine bar Three Legged Goat, Shell We Roll serves rolled ice cream desserts in seven different flavors. Owner Pamela Littlejohn said she also creates flavors for catered events with 24-hours notice. "We actually qualify ourselves as artisan-crafted ice cream, and some of our flavors were created based on the four years I spent in Vietnam," Littlejohn said.

    It started out operating in a garage, and then it made the rounds at several pop-up locations, including the Pflugerville flea market, before taking up residence within a small nook of a downtown wine bar called Three Legged Goat. Now, after two years in business, Pflugerville's only book store will have a home of its own. Owner Kelsey Black said July 24 that her store, The Book Burrow, will be located at 401 W. Pecan St., Ste. G, Pflugerville, and she is planning a late August grand opening.
