At Monday night's City Council meeting, Mayor Brian Puckett announced that Mike Wood would be the next police chief for the city of Helena. This weekend, Alchemy Running, in partnership with the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, will unveil the next chapter of its "On the Fly" film series — a powerful civil rights tour from Birmingham to Selma.
