A teenager from Enfield has died and four other teens from Connecticut are injured after a crash in Massachusetts on Sunday. Troopers from Massachusetts State Police responded to North Blandford Road in Blandford around 11:15 a.m. for a report of a serious crash. According to Massachusetts State Police, the crash involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by a 17-year-old male from Enfield. There was also a 17-year-old female from Enfield in his vehicle.

For the second time in less than a week, Stop & Shop has temporarily closed its delis due to a recall on Boar's Head products. Last Friday, Stop & Shop closed its delis after a Boar's Head meat recall that was prompted by listeria concerns. The recall impacted more than 200,000 pounds of liverwurst and deli meat. The delis at Stop & Shop were deep cleaned and sanitized and potentially impacted products were destroyed. Big Y also temporarily closed its delis last week due to the recall.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Harwinton on Sunday afternoon. State police said the person was hit on Clearview Avenue. Authorities did not release details about the extent of any injuries. The situation is active and the investigation is ongoing.

Two people have serious injuries after a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian in Waterbury on Saturday night. Officers responded to East Main Street and Williams Street around 9:20 p.m. for a report of a crash. According to police, the 42-year-old driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. He was considered to be in critical condition. Investigators said a passenger on the motorcycle left the scene before police arrived.
