The Rosholt gas station and convenience store closed in August 2024. It has reopened offering fuel, snacks, drinks and other essentials. ROSHOLT – Fuel On Wisconsin is now open in Rosholt. The gas station and convenience store at 425 W. Grand Ave. in Rosholt is now open as Fuel On Wisconsin after closing as The Store in August 2024. Fuel On Wisconsin announced May 5 the Rosholt location had officially reopened, offering fuel, snacks, drinks and other essentials.

Consolidated Water Power Company started drawing down the Wisconsin River in April so crews could repair the Whiting dam. WHITING – The Wisconsin River will remain low for the next several weeks as the Consolidated Water Power Company continues to make repairs at the Whiting dam. CWPCo started the temporary drawdown of about a 2.5-mile stretch of the river between the Whiting and Stevens Point dams in April while crews worked to repair the Whiting dam.
