For the second time in three seasons, Garrett Mitchell is facing surgery on his left shoulder. The Milwaukee Brewers provided an update on the 26-year-old outfielder on afternoon of June 24 in the wake of the injury he suffered sliding back into first base while on a minor-league rehab assignment with Class AAA Nashville. Mitchell had been in the final stages of his comeback from a left oblique strain, which landed him on the injured list on April 26.
