    Greenwich Council approved plans last year to demolish the community hall and its associated playground in Richmount Gardens and replace it with six two-storey, three-bedroom council houses with rear gardens and a new children’s play area. The collection of houses that surround the small green is part of the Brooklands Park Estate that was built in the 1950s.
