    NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) - Your commute could soon be affected if you drive on Marquette County Road 480. Starting Monday, no thru traffic will be allowed between the intersection of M-35 and the railroad bridge over 480. That’s the bridge near the old Negaunee Waste Water Treatment Plant. The road will open back up Monday, June 16. The video above will feature the TV6 livestream until staff can clip the corresponding story, if available, from broadcasts or other TV6 content.

The entire fourth-grade Lakeview Elementary class carried their school-grown marigolds to Miners Park this afternoon. The goal of Marigold Mania is to make Miners Park as beautiful as possible for summer. Students agree getting out and getting their hands dirty was worth it.

    MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - By the end of the week, demolition crews for the old Marquette hospital site will be gone. But now begins the next steps for the site. Demolition of the old Marquette hospital is now complete and crews are planting grass on the site. While the site itself is opening up, Marquette Deputy City Manager Sean Hobbins says the land will not be open to the public as the city starts the next steps.
