The sun was out, the music was loud and the mood was high as BottleRock 2024 came to an epic conclusion on day 3. Tors Indie Pop/Folk band Tors came all the way from Exeter in the United Kingdom to get the JaM Cellars Stage started for the day. The three-man group is comprised of brothers Matt and Theo Weedon and Jack Bowden. Matt is the band’s lead vocalist while his brother Theo plays lead guitar and Jack Bowden is on the drums.

First-half dominance powered the Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs past the Cosumnes River College Hawks 86-71 in the Haehl Pavilion on Feb. 6. Despite letting go of the rope a bit late in the game, the Bear Cubs controlled the contest from the tip-off. A barrage of 3-pointers early in the game got the Bear Cubs out to an early lead and from there they did not look back.

January 25, 2024 The Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs battled back after a rough first half to notch their fourth conference win in a row against the Diablo Valley College Vikings by a score of 72-61. Without their leading scorer and starting point guard Chris Holley for the first time in conference play, the Bear Cubs struggled to find their identity on offense but were able to right the ship in the second half.
