USF’s spring music festival, Bullstock, was cut short during the headlining set by indie rock band Grouplove on Friday night. Rain fell sporadically during the band’s performance, but the festival was called off when it started raining consistently — an hour before the originally scheduled 11:15 p.m. end time. This was met with the audience booing and students rushing out of the event to escape the rain and cold combo.

Before Sunday night’s loss against Memphis, USF baseball rattled off eight straight wins. Now, the Bulls (19-11, 7-2 AAC) find themselves on a two-game slide after losing to Stetson 3-1 on Tuesday night. Coach Mitch Hannahs said the team was tired after traveling back from the weekend series versus the Tigers. “I know they were dragging tail, and I told them before the game, we weren’t going to use it as an excuse,” Hannahs said.

In November, it was the scene of the groundbreaking of the biggest investment in USF history. Five months later – besides the chain-link fencing surrounding the area – not much has changed at Sycamore Fields, the future site of USF’s planned $340 million stadium that will house its football and women’s lacrosse teams. The crane staged at the groundbreaking ceremony appeared to still be there. So did the mound of dirt that USF’s top brass dug their shovels into on Nov. 8.
