After closing down in January for a series of repairs, the Coconut Grove Metrorail station has reopened with new enhancements. During the hiatus, the station was repainted and fitted with new lighting, and its restrooms were fully remodeled with new stalls and water fountains. Granite benches were added alongside a refurbished elevator, waterproof tiles and new signage to guide riders through key areas, including the parking garage. A new escalator is expected to be completed this summer.
