    DENVER (KDVR) — According to the parent control app Bark, 76% of teens experience bullying online. Bullying is also the second most reported concern on the Colorado Safe2Tell app for kids. If your kids are teenagers, they likely have or want some kind of social media account. Meta said the top concerns for parents when it comes to their teens’ online accounts are about who can contact their teens, the content they’re seeing and the time they’re spending on the apps.

    DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s flavored tobacco ban will likely be up to the voters. Vape and tobacco store owners are fighting back after the ban went into effect in March. They have submitted a petition to repeal the ordinance. The Rocky Mountain Smoke Free Alliance turned in more than 10,000 signatures from small businesses and manufacturers in the vaping industry to the Denver Elections Division, and if there are no protests filed by April 11, it will be voted on by the public.

The goal is to close the education gap and encourage early detection and awareness of kidney health. The YMCA already has educational programs, and now, Davita is partnering with the Y to add some components about kidney health for those who need it.

    AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — As the Trump administration cracks down on immigration, more cases are piling up, and some immigration experts said the standard practice is changing. This comes after a federal judge said the Trump administration may have “acted in bad faith” by trying to rush Venezuelan migrants out of the country. Trump has since called for the judge’s impeachment, and the Justice Department has argued that the judge is overstepping his authority.
