DENVER (KDVR) — The Commerce City Police Department is looking for three suspects who allegedly stole $3,000 worth of tires from a local business. The department is asking if people recognize three suspects who reportedly cut the fence at Southern Tire Mart last month. Police said they allegedly rolled tires into two vehicles and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of high-end tires. Police said the photos are blurry, but they believe someone could recognize them if they know the suspects.

DENVER (KDVR) — One person is dead in a shooting involving police after officers were in Broomfield trying to negotiate with a potentially armed man in a parking lot. The Broomfield Police Department posted about the threat on X just after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Police said there was a threat outside of A Precious Child in the 7000 block of W. 118th Ave, and they’re working to negotiate with a man who may have a gun.

DENVER (KDVR) — A class action lawsuit filed by neighbors over “noxious odors” allegedly released by a nearby Nestle Purina pet food plant was voluntarily dismissed last month. The lawsuit was filed in 2024 by a pair of residents in the area of the Purina plant, which is in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood next to Interstate 70 and just blocks away from nearby homes.
