MISSOULA — This Memorial Day, Missoula honored the fallen, both on the ground at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery and in the skies above it. Parachuters and historic World War II plane Miss Montana joined Missoulians in remembering those who served. Their dedication and sacrifice was honored by a crowd of many veterans, active duty service members and families. DRUMMOND — Thursday evening, a meeting about the Milltown Water Right drew a crowd to the Drummond Community Center. “You got to have water to grow anything. If you are a gardener and you shut the water off to it, it's pretty hard to sit there and watch it dry up and die,” said Drummond rancher, Charlie Parke. “People get pretty excited.”The meeting was hosted by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT).

MISSOULA — Missoula firefighters are taking on “the toughest two minutes in sports" for the first time in 10 years. That's the tagline for the Firefighter Challenge Championship Series, a competition for individuals and teams to showcase, inspire and level up firefighting skills. “I went this year for the first time and had a blast, so I'm definitely gonna keep doing it,” said Quinlan Roe, who is leading the Missoula Fire Department’s challenge team.
