In Peoria, Spudtacular has opened for business at Northwoods Mall. True to its name, the restaurant serves a variety of decked-out baked potatoes. The menu lists spuds such as:The Plain Jane with butter, sour cream, cheddar, chives and signature seasoning for $9. The Vegetarian for $10. The spud includes sauteed spinach, shallots, mushroom and bell pepper with vegan mozzarella and signature seasoning.

Coco’s Tacos plans to host the grand opening for its new location in Downtown Peoria on May 1. “Get ready to enjoy your favorite tacos and dishes — now even closer to you!” the restaurant wrote in a recent Facebook post. “Spread the word and come celebrate this new chapter with us!”The storefront is situated at 319 Main St., which was formerly home to Los Cabos Cantina & Grill. Owner Alin Aranda announced the new location, along with a rebranding for the restaurant, late last year.
