GRANITE CITY, Ill. – A Granite City school district staff member is under investigation after being accused of hurting two students with special needs. Ariann Davis says she was at her son’s preschool, Prather Elementary, to meet with teachers on April 30 when she heard screaming. “I was like, that’s my son. I walked out of the conference, went straight to the gym and it was him screaming,” Davis said. She says she saw an employee hurt two non-verbal kids, dragging one of them by the arm.

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. – Authorities are interviewing more students at a daycare in an ongoing suspected child abuse investigation. Christopher Titus is facing accusations of sodomy and child molestation against two children at Here We Grow Early Care and Education in Webster Groves. Last week, FOX 2 News uncovered allegations against Titus dating back to 2019.

Employee Christopher Titus was arrested and charged with Sodomy and Child Molestation last month. At the time, the charges were related to one victim; however, new charges claim there is a second victim. MILLSTADT, Ill. – Multiple homes reported damage from Sunday night’s storm. ST. LOUIS – The man accused of hijacking a plane in Belize used to be a teacher in the St. Louis region. Akinyela Taylor died Thursday when officials say he was shot while trying to hijack a small airplane with 14 passengers on board. His sister spoke with FOX 2 regarding the incident. “My family is so lost we don’t understand any of this,” Khara Taylor, Akinyela Taylor’s sister, said. Khara Taylor says there was no indication her brother would try to hijack a plane in Belize.
