ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Pagedale Police corporal has been searching non-stop for his K9, Raider, after it went missing on Wednesday night. Raider’s handler, Corporal Justin Cole, was on his way to work this morning when he got a call from Hazelwood Animal Control. He said someone had spotted Raider in a neighborhood near the St. Stanislaus Conservation area. Cpl. Cole urgently searched the area all day Friday. “I spend more time with Raider than my 4-year-old daughter. He’s on a swat team with me.

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Two Special School District of St. Louis County paraprofessionals are arrested, accused of assaulting three non-verbal children. A court filing from the Maryland Heights Police Department says Charnita Thomas and Angelette Boleyjack-Calhoun committed the crimes on March 25 in the gymnasium of the Academy of Innovation at Remington in the Pattonville School District.
Middle school student hospitalized after attack at Rockwood South

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – St. Louis County Police are investigating after a Rockwood South Middle School student attacked another student on Friday. Video of the attack was put online. “As a mother, I’m just devastated. She’s been through this turmoil for the past five years,” Andrea Mayberry, the victim’s mother, said. The turmoil came to a head on Friday when her daughter was violently attacked in front of her school. “She was drug around, beat in the head, kicked in the back,” she said.

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – St. Charles County prosecutor Joe McCulloch said it was in 2017 when Matthew McMenamy last had contact with his victim, a St. Charles County police officer. In a probable cause statement from the Wentzville Police, in 2023, he is accused of posting fliers on car windshields and at a Wentzville business owned by the officer’s wife. The fliers allegedly had the officer’s picture and raised concerns of racism, but investigators working on the case found no evidence of racism.

Melissa Springer’s family has 15 plots at Mount Hope Cemetery.
