DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A potential kidnapping situation led to a Dayton Police SWAT call to a Wright-Dunbar home. According to a Dayton Police supervisor, crews were originally called out to a different location on a report of a missing person. The investigation led officers to believe the missing person may have been kidnapped, which in turn brought them to a home in the 900 block of South Paul Laurence Dunbar St.The missing person and other family members were located safe and unharmed.

Dayton Fire was called to Woodward Avenue near West 3rd Street around noon Saturday. According to the fire chief on the scene, the home was vacant. A firefighter had to be treated for heat exhaustion from the blaze.
