    SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — It was 17 years ago today that a mother in Springfield heard the most heartbreaking news of her life — her daughter was dead. Now, on the anniversary of her death, that mother is still seeking closure. Springfield police say they found 25-year-old Alia Hartman deceased inside her home after it was set on fire on May 9, 2008. Her cause of death was ruled a homicide, and the fire caused by arson. 17 years have gone by, and Alia’s family is still seeking answers.

If voters across the state pass Issue 2, it would provide general obligation bonds to local governments, limited to $250 million for 10 years.
