INDIAN food is hard to get right, but an Andover restaurant celebrating its second year has the recipe. Sultan, which can be found down Union Street, was a recent feature for an article following its anniversary and it was quite a deal for a reporter who was treated to a free lunch and interview with the eponymous owner. Sultan Karim spotted me outside, taking pictures of his business just opposite the conveniently placed George Yard car park. He ushered me in with a friendly smile and handshake.

ROMSEY is in the bottom half of the league when it comes to the best places to live, according to property experts. According to Garrington Property Finders' annual report, Romsey ranked 826 out of 1,447 towns and villages in England and Wales, with a population above 5,000 and 23rd in Hampshire. Netley was first. To the disappointment of many residents, the Test Valley town was placed lower than Southampton (519) and Portsmouth (582).
